In the Trash If your files are already in the Trash and you want to delete specific files in there, you can select one or several, right-click on them, and choose Delete Immediately. You’ll get the same dialog box and you’ll have to click the Delete button to confirm as before. You can also just select your files and hit Option-Command-Delete. Click on Delete and those files will be gone for good. Instead of the usual “Move to Trash,” you’ll see the menu option “Delete Immediately.” Choose that and you’ll get a little reminder that this is a permanent delete.
